The start of the chapter shows the backstory of Thetis and Bashira’s friendship.
At the end, the MC has to kiss Thetis to break her brainwashing. This causes Thetis to get mad about having been kissed by a man, so she keeps trying to kill the MC.
In order to stop her, Bashira kisses her to overwrite the kiss from the MC.
