Makoto and Maya have a wholesome goodbye with each other while taking a bath together since they’re going to college.
The chapter ends with Makoto narrating that she never saw Maya again after that but she knows she’ll see her again.
The author said this would be the end of the JK arc, but not the series. Now whether Maya will show up again in this series or in the sequel series where Makoto is married, we’ll have to wait and see.
