Sahoko is saved by a masked woman who she can’t use her skills to identify, so the woman tells her that she’s from the same world as Sahoko and to call her Ira.
Ira then “teaches” Sahoko magic by basically having lesbian sex with her.
(Ira’s character design is very similar to Sahoko’s. And the fact that she keeps her identity hidden combined with the fact that she’s also from the real world, strongly suggests she’s either Sahoko’s mother or older sister, but there’s no confirmation on that yet.)
